The paper examines the pedagogical benefits and limitations of digital multilingual support in university foreign-language learning. It considers digital glosses, dictionaries, translation tools and multilingual resources as forms of instructional scaffolding. The analysis identifies conditions under which they facilitate comprehension and language awareness without replacing sustained engagement with the target language.
